9 Months

Happy Last day of 2014. We are celebrating our little guy turning nine months. While people are out partying it up we will be watching movies and eating cookies. We might stay up, but most likely we will be in bed by 11. We've been doing this for years though. Having a kid didn't make us lame. We were there long before he came along.

So we now have a nine month old. He is all over the place and destroying our house one small area at a time. He crawls everywhere and loves to be chased. He now pulls himself up and walks along the couch, windows and anything else he can hold onto. Walking is next on his agenda. He still loves talking. Until last week his favorite word was still mama. Now he says dada just as much. He also says a bunch of other mumbled up words that make total sense to him. We no longer do purees. He is solely a self feeder now. Also, he will eat just about anything you put in front of him. Today we found out he LOVES pulled pork. He is definitely our child. He has started to mock things that we do. We got him to start waving, clapping and shaking his head.

Standing. No big deal

Christmas was a success

His gift from Aunt Brittney

My sister came into town for Christmas. She actually just left today. She got to experience Henry's first Christmas. He didn't really care what was going on but loved all of the boxes and paper. She got to see what it's like to spend Christmas in 70 degree weather. We took her to Gourdoughs donuts and introduced her to the best donut she has ever had. Did I mention it was as big as her face? She learned what it's like to party with people in their late 20's and early 30's. I'm pretty sure I caught her falling asleep a few times. Overall, I think it was a successful visit. We already miss her like crazy. Henry loved having her here and so did we. Now back to our normal, boring life.

Yes, this is a donut

This year has been full of so many firsts and awesome experiences. We now have one extra person to experience 2015 with. Can't wait to see what this next year brings. Hope you all have a great New Years Eve.
